Itty Bitty House Book Swap

I joined another swap. this one looks like so much fun! Callieflowergirl is putting it on. Isn't the little house soooo cute, don't you think?! I think it will be alot of fun!

I am just about finished with my Vintage Birds and Bonnets swap creations! That has been fun too!

I am so looking forward to a weekend at home. We have been gone for the last two weekends. and we may be going away next weekend also!! Fun, but I am getting very behind in everything.

New Banner

OK-- I just love the free banners that Counting Your Blessings has!! They are sooooo pretty! and just perfect for people like me who are not too smart on computers! As you can see, I have used a free banner and still can't get it to work right on my blog!! Ok, so I tried to use a different template and then I lost a bunch of other things. So---- I 'm going to settle for the banner to be off center for now!! Good enough for me!! I'll work on it later. But anyway----- if you have seen her banners, aren't they just so pretty? Had a great weekend. My husband and I went with some friends to Yuma, AZ to a motorcycle run that we go to every year. Had a really fun and relaxing weekend hanging out with great friends! then came home and watched the UFC replay. Oh yes! My guy, George St. Pierre won his fight!! He was awesome as usual!! Yay, George!!

My Sweet Little Nest Is So Sweet

I received my Sweet Little Nest package and is it ever sweet!!
Vanessa did such a beautiful job on everything! I was so spoiled! How lucky was I to receive such awesomeness! The box she made is just gorgeous with such pretty fabric and embellishments. And the liittle tag with the nest embroidered on it is so me! There are so many little details on the nest that I could have taken a hundred pictures to show them all off! Then the bird with all the beadwork and the sweet beaded crown!! She really went all out! I just love it so much!! Thanks, Vanessa!!!


We are having my kids and grandkids over tonite for a belated birthday party for my son and son in law who both had birthdays last week. My son ( my youngest) turned 30! Hard to believe!! So we are having mexican food. And then strawberry shortcake! That's what they requested. So off to the store I go! Maybe I should get some margarita makings too!!

Sweet Little Nest Swap Done

Well, the Sweet Little nest Swap is all done now. My partner received mine so here are some pics of what I sent her. I hand twisted one of my little nests and embellished it up a bit with some off white hand felted eggs. Also covered and embellished the little box for it so it wouldn't get beat up travelling.

I had a great weekend. My oldest sister came to see me! We had a really good time visiting and just catching up. Had all my kiddos over one nite for enchiladas. I am not ready for Monday!
