More of My Cool B-Day Presents

Well, these aren't the best pics, but the bracelet was from my son and daughter-in-law. Isn't it cute. It is so vintagey! Love it! It came from the best store in town (besides the antique and thrift stores!). The store is called Bella. And the girls there have such a knack for buying and displaying the awesomest stuff! My wonderful daughter got me these cool antique finds! I LOVE them!! Some antique crepe paper, in the package still. And in perfect shape. This little "Weave It" loom that she has been looking for one for herself forever ( and she gave it to ME!). It is tiny and adorable and I can't wait to weave some little pretty on it! And this old ink bottle in my favorite color! The label is so cool and it is filled with nibs for caligraphy!!!

Gettin' Old

OK, so, I'm gettin old! But I don't feel old! I had my 52nd birthday last week and it was so nice.

My sister who has been visiting us left on my birthday, so that part was sad. But we had a nice family dinner with all our grandkids and kids the nite before, and the nite before that too! My sister made me this beautiful sewing machine cover!

Isn't it pretty!!?? I just love it and that she hand embroidered it just for me!! the star on the side she made with pieces my Mom had cut for a quilt before she passed away. So of course that makes it even more special!

My awesome husband got me a weaving loom for my birthday! I was so excited. I have been wanting a loom for so long!!
